That 30 point personal goal

One thing I have been struggling with is the 30 point bonus for setting a personal goal. It's taking so much of my energy, self-discipline and commitment to accomplish the basic 30 points that I haven't been able to come up with something for the bonus. I was thinking I could fix my hair and makeup every day or keep the kitchen sink clean, but I just feel like what I'm doing for the fitness goals is plenty for me to handle. I just reread the instructions about the bonus points, and I guess I'll just make my goal to lose 6 pounds in the 3 week period.

What kinds of things are you doing for your personal goal?

  1. Sue, I've got two goals, one that may not be achievable in the time alloted (and it's a surprise, kinda). Second, clean out all the closets and get the extra clothes/toys out of the house.

  2. My goal (as already discussed with Melissa) is kind of lame, but it is something that I have been putting off for months - to do all of the ironing. My husband thinks his dress shirts have gone to live with Jesus.

  3. It's funny that you ask this. Missy and I were talking about this yesterday at lunch. I think the idea behind the goal is that life needs to be well rounded. We can sometimes become so focused on one thing it can become a little crazy. However, when you are trying to achieve a goal like that it's ok too. So I think loosing that weight that you've been working so hard to do is a great goal. Makes you want to work a little harder. That's Missy's goal too!

My goal is probably shocking to many. I might say I hate to brush my teeth before bed but it's not that. Just by the time I decide to go to bed I want to be in bed and getting ready for bed doesn't matter anymore. So my three week goal is to brush my teeth every night before I go to bed. It's something I really have to think about but I'm doing great so far. It's also important to my health....they all say healthy teeth and gums mean a healthier body.

  4. My goal is to loose the weight I put on over the last 6 months of slacking off. I can't wait for it to be gone. FOREVER!
