Susan w/ Ollie
Hi Ladies! This is one of those situations where I'm asking forgiveness instead of permission to post a photo. Here is the fabulous Susan with my son Ollie. We met up the other night to watch my daughter's softball game. There is a track around the sports complex, so when my daughter wasn't up to bat or in the field we'd do three or four laps. It was a good way to sneak in a little exercise.
Just wanted to shout out to Susan who is such a great example to me of healthy living. She showed up with a huge bottle of water, while I had to drink from the nasty lukewarm drinking fountain because I forgot my water.
It's so easy to forget that we can take our water with us wherever we go. Now that the weather is warming up {sorry Sue} it is even more important to rehydrate. What are some of your tricks for water on the go?
ps. Did you know that a water bottle makes an excellent diversion for an infant? It's true.
It snowed last night. Bleh!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Susan! (Maybe, next time bring a water bottle for Samantha too.) Love the way you ladies fit a walk in during game time.
ReplyDeleteBusy moms need to use their time efficiently, I think you two did an excellent job. Some days I'm too busy to remember to drink the water even when it is right at hand.
ReplyDeletePoor Sue, hope the warmth gets to you soon!
What a cute picture!
ReplyDeleteIt's taken me a long time to remember to take my water with me everywhere. I now have two kinds of waterbottles: a 32 oz to drink at home, and a smaller one that fits in my purse. My waterbottle goes with me where ever I go. I get so thirsty now that I feel frustrated when I forget it. If you have a baby, buy little disposable ones and throw one in your diaper bag. Do you carry one with you most of the time. That way when you check your diaper bag to see if you are missing anything, you can make your water bottle part of that mental list.
I guess I make a point of drinking a lot of water at home so that I don't have to worry when I am out. I'm kind of a water snob, so I won't drink water from the tap. YUCK!!
