What do you do?

What do you guys do when you have a silly little cold? Do you push through it and keep exercising? Tone it down, but still get a work out in? Or just rest? I remember when I was swimming on a team, my coach always made me push through what ever my body was fighting. I rarely took a day off and missed practice. Any advice anyone? Will I get better faster by resting? Or moving my body?

  1. I've heard you should exercise. Not me though. I just cleave to the couch until it's over.

  2. I've heard the same thing. Keep exercising but maybe take it down a little so not to over do. The fresh air is good to. Try a little run...not your long runs. Lots of Vitamin C and since you're having problem with some fruits maybe you need to do that in capsule form. I do a little of both. I may take a day to rest and then I try to keep going. I hope you feel better soon.

  3. Drink lots and lots of fluids and eat chicken noodle soup. I would try to keep exercising but step it down a notch of two.

  4. I do yoga. Not Audrey's booty-kicking yoga, the kind you can find on Wii fit.

  6. I don't think it really matters. A virus is a virus and it'll last as long as it's going to. But I wouldn't over do it, you're body's already fighting something, you don't want to add any more stress to it. Good luck, hope you feel better!
