Heaviness

I am on a quest to rid myself of "Heaviness".

Sometimes it hangs out on my thighs.
I've spotted it lingering around my stomach.
For the longest time it has been renting space on the back of my arms.

But recently, it has made itself comfortable in a tiny corner of my heart.
I especially don't like it there.
Good thing this challenge is helping to chase out the heaviness that is both physical and emotional. Thank you ladies for your encouragement and wise words. Exercise seems to be one of the best ways for me to evict my recent tenants. Soon I will have room for my new tenants....

  1. Hey, I stopped by to see you today and you weren't home. Sounds like we needed a little chat. I'll try to get in touch with you soon. Hang in there!

  2. Oh Marci, I'm sorry to hear about the heaviness of heart. What can we do to lighten that particular load?

  3. HI Queen Vee, I am doing good, it is just that my husband travels a lot and I don't handle it well. I decided I might feel better about the situation if I cleaned out my house. I know, a bit silly, but for some reason the idea of simplifying things makes me feel a whole lot better.

  4. Marci, I think your strategy to stay busy while your husband is gone is a good one. Busy hands lighten (heavy with work) the heaviness elsewhere literally and figuratively. Maybe you could also spend some of that away time with friends.

  5. I've learned that travelling hubbies make this challenge harder! Too easy to find comfort in food. But you have the right idea Marci, to find replacements for the food by doing other good things! Keep it up.
