Hi everyone! New week, fresh start. A trip to the grocery to stock up on fruits and veggies for the week. How many can you name. Isn't all that color inspiring!? My cart is about 1/2 full of fruits and veggies these days. I feel pretty stoked about that. I'm curious to know what you're buying at the grocery. Do tell.
I have about all those things in my fridge right now too! The only thing I can't figure out is the yellow looking water melon shaped thing. What's that? What are you going to do with the ginger? I'm using mine in a marinade for some tuna tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my garden planted so I don't have to pay for some of this stuff for a few months. Especially tomatoes. I love garden tomatoes.
That yellow melon wedge is watermelon! The yellow kind is so succulent and sweet! Wish we could grow tomatoes... but the deer would eat them first.
ReplyDeleteKen Here with a twofer! Eat the deer and any leftover tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteGinger for flank steak marinade. Ken!?! You're the first man to visit this estrogen filled zone. How brave of you!
ReplyDeleteYellow watermelon? What in the world? I've never heard of such a thing!
ReplyDeleteI just think we are so blessed to live in an age where all we have to do is get in our cars and go to the store where we can find such an enormous selection of fruits and veggies. To top it off , to also have the means to purchase these types of food is a super blessing.
ReplyDeleteThe pears have been so delicious and I even had a tomato that had a little flavor...not home grown garden type flavor but more than usual. Had a delicious salad, fresh steamed artichokes...huge..and pork roast for dinner. Yummy
ReplyDeleteWe had pancakes last night.... :( But I'm on my way out the door to go grocery shopping and I've been inspired!
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteWant company for dinner?!!!
