Monkey See Monkey Do

Hi Ladies!

My 5 year old was busy cooking yesterday and look what he made with foamies and nerf darts?! A salad with carrots on top! How cool is that?! It's inspiring to me to see my kids emulate my healthy choices because, although I'm embracing these challenges for myself, I am also mindful of how this choice affects those I love.

  1. Melissa that is SUPER AWESOME! Sam definitely talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. When we go the get groceries he tells me all the veggies that I need to buy...but he won't touch them.
I hope in time it will change...Jonah is my eater. He pretty much likes anything...except I learned he really doesn't like watermelon. He did eat the slice I gave him because I told him it was good for him.

  5. Today I exercised later than usual, around noon while Mack was napping. Amelia was right along-side me doing her "Excising" and scribbling notes down on a paper to keep track of all the exercise she did. Definitely Monkey See, Monkey Do. It's one of the wonderful rewards for all of this hard work, seeing that we're influencing our children for good.

  6. I need to be the teacher you are. My kids need that example. My kids do love "trees" (broccoli)!
