TIME TO PAY THE PIPPER! Challenge #2

Ms. Thunder Bumper thinks that since we all just payed up to Uncle Sam that it's time to pay up for part two of planks and push-ups.

Just test yourself and see where you're at. Have you improved? Have you even tried again? Some of you are really rockin'. If you are you can try this move from Trainer Momma.

If you're new this round this is a good place to start. Check out this link to see all the information from the previous challenge.

Tell us your successes and what you might want to work on next to keep improving. Let's me Healthy AND Strong.

10points for testing yourself and posting/commenting about where you're at.

  1. Ok, I did 2:01 on the plank. I still need to try that side plank. I did 20 man push-ups but the last few were in pretty poor form. I improved by about 30 seconds, and 2 push-ups!

  3. The plank at 1 minute, 37 seconds. My 9 year old kept cheering me to keep going. Only 10 man push ups this time, but I think my form was better. For what it's worth, I think the side planks are easier than the front one.

    Mindy, I'm so impressed!

  6. I did 20 man push ups and 1:50 on the plank. I actually did worse! I think last time I did the plank for 2:07 oops. I did do a killer arm workout yesterday though

  7. Ok, only 10 mens push-ups but that's a jump up from lots of womens push-ups.

Plank 1:30 seconds. That's an extra :45 seconds from last time.

Improving and more room for improvement.

  8. I went downhill. I went from 1:20 to 1:13 on the plank, and from 21 to 14 man push-ups. I think when I did the first test I'd had a day or two of rest and was fresh. This time I'd already done my workout for the day. Now that I think about it, I didn't do much strength training last week, mostly cardio. Time to get back to Bob and Jillian!

  10. I held on for 3:30 for the plank and did 48 push ups. I think I did 3:00 and 39 last time! Yay! It's good to see some tangible progress. I'm gonna keep practicing. I love p90x's yoga because you do a ton of planks into push ups, which reminds me Audrey, come over and give me a hand with your cd...I am a little computer illiterate.
