Paying the price!

I am the proud owner of some sore muscles today!  I pulled out my workout with weights tape!  Much harder than I remember!  I forget...is it no brain, no pain or no pain no gain?  I don't necessarily aspire to be a lean, mean fighting machine, I just want my hugs to be a bit less squishy!

I'm a bit stopped up from my change in diet.  What do you girls suggest to clean out the pipes...that's legal and safe!

Blog ya later!

  1. prunes always work nicely :) Try some oatmeal or Dee's cereal... you need some roughage to work it through Way to go woman!

  4. Hi Rose. Pancakes and homemade maple syrup are always good for me, but then again, not so healthy. ; )

I hope you don't mind me telling my Dad about Jake's blog. My Dad is a big Teddy Bear with a giant heart. He has had a couple of very dear friends go through similar trials. He was touched Jake's story.

  5. Lots more water...I know you probably think you're drinking a ton but kick it up and bit to help out with the extra roughage you need to eat. Prunes, spinach, broccoli,

  6. Missy: I did get that (your dad being a Teddy Bear) from talking to him today! Very sweet! I don't feel comfortable asking for help, but my niece is on it! Thanks for sharing and caring!

Audrey: Thanks! I can do that! I'm getting on it right now!

  7. Rose, you are too cute. Such a fun personality shining through already. As for you little dilemma, I know Becky swears by her savory smoothies. I can't stomach the idea (I can be weird when it comes to foods though). Here is the link if you want to check it out. http://ahealthywifeequalshappylife.blogspot.com/2011/01/spinach-smoothie.html

  8. Hey! Cammy, I was just about to put that link here! See, I can drink gallons of water, and it doesn't make a dent in my stopped up pipes. But a spinach smoothie a day keeps the pain away, I'm telling ya. Seriously, it tastes just like spinach pizza to me. I've even put it over pasta.

  9. I am cracking up at this thread of comments. You girls are way too cute. For me, running keeps me regular. It never fails to produce results within an hour of finishing my run. Good luck Rose!!!

Marci: I'm hearing the little commentator in my head...and here come's Marci in from her run. She's slowing down, walking it off. Her breathing slows...stretching, then off the the bathroom! Right on schedule! lol

  11. LOL, I guess our ability to talk about body functions (in a relatively mature way) shows just how comfortable we are with one another. Definitely a good thing I think:)

  12. He he ha ha ha. Rose, you made me laugh out loud on that one. So funny, but so true. That's exactly how it goes!!!!! In fact, I can't stop running on a run, especially a long run, or I'm in trouble. Must stay close to the rest room when I am done. HA ha ha.
