Lunch date anyone?

I'm one of those people who goes to Open Houses even when I'm not house shopping. Or who peeks into windows, all lit up at night, just to see how other people's dining rooms look. I'm a nosy Nellie like that. So today I'm wondering if you won't let me peek into your lunch box. What will you/did you have for lunch today? That's what I want to know. When I figure out what I'm having, I'll get back to you.

  1. This looks like a great challenge to head into the weekend.

5 extra points for posting about this or
10 points for making a post about your lunch today!

  2. Bad News/Good News -

It turns out that I am NOT going to be able to go to Salt Lake this weekend like I was hoping. My husband and I had a lengthy financial discussion about bills, jobs, etc., and decided that trips are out right now. Pooh.

But, I was talking to someone last night, and there is a great scrapbook group that meets at my local library tomorrow for an all-day scrapfest, so I am going to go to that! It should be fun to meet local people and network with them. Actually, I'm kind of excited about it!

Audrey, about this challenge - do you mean 5 points for commenting here, and then 10 points for a separate post about the meal? And we have until Sunday to make a separate post about our lunch? I want to do a post about the lunch I will have at the scrapbooking meeting tomorrow.

  3. Oh my! Well, now I better figure out what I'm having and soon! =-)

  4. I have already been making a very healthy turkey salad filling for my lunch. I used red grapes, onion, celery, and low cal mayo with some brown deli mustard for a little zip. Add a little avacado for my good fats and I'm set. YUM

  5. 5 points for commenting here OR 10 points for making your own post about your lunch. Of course the catch would be if you only comment for the day was here and you didn't do the post you would get the points for the daily post and 5 points for the bonus....I know, I can be so confusing.

  6. Today for lunch, I had a a whole grain wrap with ham, light mayo, mustard and lettuce. I drank a Orange Fanta 'Zero'. (Which is yummy by-the-way). Pretty boring lunch, but it was good. Going out to a vietnamese restaurant tonight, I hope I have the will power to be good!!
