Out Of Commission

I'm sorry all, but I was hoping to go in strong through this next challenge, but a family tragedy has taken my mind other places:

This was my cousins little girl. Since we are a close family, I will be spending my time mourning with them, and not focusing on the calorie counting and blogging. I will come in strong next challenge. As for now, I need to get rid of the feeling of being run over by a dump truck!

  2. Oh, Alicia. Such a tragedy. My heart goes out to the mom, most of all. Praying for you and your extended family to feel the support, prayers of those near and far...and God's constant, steady hand.

You are very thoughtful to let us hold you and your family in our prayers.

  6. Guilt can make tragedy almost unbearable. May your cousin find comfort in the reality of Christ's Atonement, and may she find unconditional love from her family. I'll be thinking and praying for you all.

  7. I'm sorry, so, so sorry. I'm almost crying as I remember my teenage girl being run over in our neighbor's driveway when she was 2-3 yrs. old. We were lucky, she survived with no permanent damage, although she was life-flighted to Children's Primary in Salt Lake and was in a body cast for six weeks.

I cannot imagine having the accidental death of a child, especially if I had a hand in it. I hope I never have to experience that and the inevitable guilt that follows. Sue is right, this is the Savior's venue. Only He can heal this and help your cousin and family cope with this great tragedy.

For sure, that's where your focus should be right now. We love you, and pray for you and your family at this time.

    Love, Becky
