Just Do It

We've heard this from Nike and from President Kimball but now you're going to hear it from me. I'm itching to a post about my hike in California but I need to go to bed since my ride is coming at 5am. I just wanted to give you all a pep talk as I'm giving myself one.

Don't let anyone tell you you can't do it. Not even yourself.

Don't give into excuses, they only lead to regrets.

Say you're going to do something and then do it, even if you may be a little afraid to try something new.

There is nothing you can't do. You just have to put your mind to it.

If you fall, get up and keep going. If you fall again, get up...again.

Never give up. There are unlimited number of retries.

There is no limit to what you can do.

You are amazing. And I know each of you can accomplish something great.

  2. Hope your race went great! Amazing Post - thanks for the reminders of not giving up and not giving into excuses. My two biggest downfalls.

  3. Race went much better than expected. Went by really fast, no complications, beautiful day, good post race meal, now I'm headed to bed and hoping for a nap tomorrow!
