Put your point totals here!

Two weeks down one more to go!!!! Keep it going.

  1. My total this week was 189, but only because I did the two thunder bumper challenges. I can see that weekends are going to be my downfall. With the whole family home, a crazy schedule and me tired of cooking, it's easy to fall off the good habit wagon and eat junk.

  2. My total this week is 213. It's harder to fit exercise in with chillier weather and a long to do list. Oh, and Chinese take-out is really, really calorie-laden. Even a plain cup of white rice is 320! But drinking the water has become easier. A couple of days I even drank more than 64 ounces.

  3. 227. The second week was definitely easier for me. My willpower is getting better and better and I've been surprised to discover that this challenge has brought out the competitor in me! My biggest temptation was blowing off the exercise, but I would think, "I can't give up those 5 points!" My weight didn't change too much this week (.5 lb), but I'm down 3.5% on my body fat.

  4. 132 I started on Wednesday so I am pretty happy with the number since I missed 2 days. I have been more careful on what I eat because I want those points! Next week will be even better!

  5. 185. I didn't exercise once this week. Not ONCE! It's too awkward with 8 visitors staying in your house. Also, I'm cheating a little bit on my points. I gave myself 5 points for the eating out challenge, even though I didn't eat out. I looked up nutritional info for Cafe Rio and discovered that they don't really publish nutritional info anywhere, which is a RED FLAG! I did find a few sites that claimed they had "verified" info for a few of their dishes and the chicken salad was 525 calories. But is that with or without dressing? I didn't want to risk it, so I skipped it. We did go out to a frozen custard joint one night, and I looked up the nutrition info in advance. I ordered a kiddie sized low-fat strawberry yogurt. It was about 1/2 cup serving, and only 90 calories.

  6. 238. I keep forgetting to take my vit. If I don't take it with a meal it makes me throw up, and sometimes I don't remember to take it until bed time. It's a toss up of "do I eat some food now before bed so I can take my vitamin and get a point, or do I skip it so I can have my point for not eating within 2 hours of bed time." I have been choosing to skip it because usually I don't have any more calories I can eat. My goal for this week is to take it every day. I am going to go take it now.

  7. 214 for the week - the 3 hour hike on Saturday definately helped boost my points a little bit. I need to get better about fruits and veggies, specifically veggies!

  8. My total is 212 for the week. I totally lost the last 10 points for the challenge because I fell asleep putting the boys down. I didn't work out this weekend and had to use one free-range day on Saturday. I didn't go overboard, but went to a friends and she cooked a delicious rice dish and chicken and fried plantains...I hope that counts as my fruit :)I did much better this week than last.

  11. 146. Ouch. I'm trying, but life is HECTIC at the moment! I'm excited for the next challenge to start off fresh! Since giving up all my money to move, the options of what to eat are slim! Any cheap food ideas??

  12. Point, Shmoint... I didn't quite reach my goal but there is still next week, and I am proud to say that I JoGGeD 1/2 mile two days this week. Then my hip hurt, and my foot ached, and my knee was cranky... but that will not stop me!!! I am eating better anyway. So on we go for another week.

  13. Chelsea, that would be a great challenge: the cheap & healthy challenge. I will say this: almost all veggies are good roasted, with some olive oil and seasonings. Get what's on sale.

  14. I've been eating a lot of asparagus (on sale for .87/lb) and salad (fresh bags on sale for .99 each). I actually really love veggies, it's the fruit I can't seem to make. I hate buying it because it always seems to go bad before I get around to it. I was thinking about maybe buying some of the frozen bags...

  15. I keep several bags of frozen fruits. It is helpful if you want to make a quick smoothie for breakfast.
