The doctor has given Jake a few months to live. We are making them the best we can. Tumors are growing so fast I quit counting. I am hoping he will make it until his best friend comes home off his mission the first of December...but if not...let's just say I expect this Christmas to be the worst one of my life!
Oh my goodness Rose! My heart aches for you. No words can take away the pain you are feeling right now.
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry, Rose!! I'm thinking of you and wishing you many happy, precious moments with Jake and your family. He is such an inspiration, and so are you!!! Sending love and prayers!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Rose, I live in Huntington Beach, CA. (Not far from Oceanside). If you need ANYTHING while you are in CA, please contact me. (missypyne@gmail.com) I'd be happy to bring your family beach equipment, bikes, fishing rods, surfboards etc. if it would make your trip more fun while you are here. Transportation, food...whatever. <3
ReplyDeleteDear, sweet, Rose, it is times like this that I wish I could reach through my computer and give you the biggest hug ever! My heart just aches for you and your family. You are certainly in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Do you still need a wheelchair for Jake? I may have access to a Jazzy you could use. Let me know.
Rose, I can't imagine how heavy your heart must be right now. I am so, so sorry for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! Yesterday was a good day! Fever is down...but the pain is getting worse. For me...I didn't cry yesterday so that was good!
ReplyDeleteCammy: we have a regular wheel chair..but if he wants a Jazzy I'll get back to you...(thanks for the virtual hug!)
Missy: we are new to the whole beach experience! Maybe you could guide us through it so we can maximize our time there! I would love to meet you!
Rose,

It knocked the wind out of me to read this post. I was so hoping it would be better news.
