My muscles are never sore even after I've been off for a few days. Clearly I'm not working hard enough. The Queen Veehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02155350213939987094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483208361465627515.post-57490536332076654572010-11-11T07:16:44.340-05:002010-11-11T07:16:44.340-05:00Cammy! Usually practice makes things much easier in the long run. Although, taking a break isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes our bodies can get burned out, and we need to take a recovery week to allow it to push past that.Marcihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10031872845256944568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483208361465627515.post-88407483089407812992010-11-11T00:22:51.026-05:002010-11-11T00:22:51.026-05:00Yes, yes, yes on all accounts. When it comes to exercise, I try to push though the hard things, like when I am running up a hill, I always try to make it to the top before allowing myself to let up a little. I think in the long run it is easier even if it is hard at the time. Does that make sense? Speaking of hard things, I need to get back to my weight training. I have been super slacking on that. Sore muscles here I come!Cammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10041400625718635878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483208361465627515.post-31029377295976244752010-11-10T23:36:14.997-05:002010-11-10T23:36:14.997-05:00I think we've just hit the totally insane busy...I think we've just hit the totally insane busy time of year. It's really going to be a challenge to keep up with our healthy habits when we don't have the usual amount of mental energy.

Yep, going back to something you haven't done for a while, it can be a challenge. But I find that I enjoy a good "burn" once in a while, when you challenge your body beyond it's usual comfort zone. It's a great feeling afterwards, even more mental/psychological than physical.Becky in Wyohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06684694251553801410noreply@blogger.com
