You could start parking your car 30 to 50 feet further away from the store/work than you usually do and probably net more weight loss per year. One pound a year? Give me a break. I weigh myself 1st thing in the morning, although sometimes I have a hard time getting to breakfast for several hours. I like my three smaller meals with snacks in between. I try not to go more than three hours without eating. If I went 6 1/2 hours between lunch and dinner I think I would cheat for sure and go on a rampage;) Of course my meals are usually around 400 calories with snacks ranging between 150 and 200 calories so maybe that makes a difference. But, no way can I wait to eat breakfast for an hour after waking. I'm starving the minute I wake up. On an average day, I eat about 6 minutes after waking.
